Oh, what a great idea- they look nice and sturdy too!
Me and DD might have a go at this- we habe an old blackout blind up in the cupboard made from some checked fabric that would be perfect- we could have a matching big one and small one:TMember of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

I passed the link on to my Aunt who is a whizz on the sewing machine. I hope she will make me one now as I'm hopeless at sewing!0

Just a quick bump to remind people about morsbags - we're having our first bag making night tomorrow - I'll let you know how it goes. We are hoping to make it a monthly event!0

How did it go???0 -
There were five of us at the first one and we weren't too organised so we only managed four bags! I got a bit about it in the local paper and have had a call from one person who is going to join us at the next meeting and several donations of old curtains etc. my house is looking a bit like a jumble sale at the moment.
We also have two people who are sewing as and when they can at home so already have another four from that.
We are going to aim to do 100 bags before we go out and start handing them out so that it is quite an event and we can try to get some local newspaper and possibly television coverage!!
I'm sure at the next meeting (we are going to meet on the second Friday of each month) we will be much more organised - I think I may cut the fabric at home before hand and then we should be much more producive - will also try to get another bit in the paper and hopefully a photo too, this should drum up a few more people to join!0
