BBC iPlayer

I have a htc wildfire s android phone.
I have just tried to use the BBC iplayer on it but it didn't work.
A) Is it possible to fix this? I just get a loop of install BBC media player
If not what other device can I get to listen to BBC radio iplayer away from home? What is the cheapest way to do this?

The BBC radio iPlayer app is only available on Apple.
Does the phone not have FM radio?

It does but I wanted to listen to past ones. BTW The iplayer is avaliable on android phones but it doesn't work!

Thought you meant the Radio iPlayer app. Have you downloaded the media player and the iPlayer.

Works on my Samsung very well but I did have problems on my Wildfire though - not sure the phone specs are up to it?

According to http://www.gsmarena.com/htc_wildfire-3337.php the HTC Wildfire comes with Android 2.1, but is upgradeable to 2.2. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=bbc.iplayer.android&hl=en says the BBC iPlayer app requires at least 2.2, so it'd be worth checking which version you have installed.
