How many amps does it take to power and run ?
I've seen a portable power pack that supplies 5V 450mA (via USB connector).
Will it run this drive without connection to a PC ?0 -
Now showing 32.54 with google checkout and selecting super saver0

It claims 1.5A but that is clearly idiotic because the USB specification is 500mA per port and there is a two port splitter cable. How many amps does it take to power and run
In theory no; in practice it might. I've tried mine on at least three computers connecting only one USB port and it was OK.I've seen a portable power pack that supplies 5V 450mA (via USB connector).
Will it run this drive without connection to a PC ?Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.0 -
