I won't go into all the details here, but I have just paid £10.00 a month for £30k contents and £15k buildings (bath, marble floor, granite top etc) which is more than enough cover for me. It for a 2 bed apartment in Spain and I believe they cover all of Europe. I'm sure others will agree that to try and deal with a Spanish company whilst trying to relax for a 5 day break is a farce.

I also have just cancelled by home/bulidings insurance with Stirling Executive Insurance and used above guys too. I have quite a lot of expensive camera equiptment that does not have to be named and only watches jewellery and furs are considered high risk items. Everything insured around the world. Suits my needs but may not be for everybody.


EDIT It's for 20K not 30K and outside items (patio furniture is £500 only). I just got policy so tweaking it to £1000 outside
