need advice on high gas bill

hi there... i really could do with some advice on my gas and electric bill..i have recieved my bill from british gas...the bill is from ...7th nov 2012 to 25 feb 2013.... my electric is £323.24 and my gas is £1185.54...this seems so high...i have never had a bill like this before and it really is worrying me how im going to pay it.. i live in a 4 bed semi detatched house with my 4 children...can somebody tell me if this is the average gas bill...i have phoned british gas and they have told me the bill is correct.. i have asked them to come and check my meter as i think i am paying too much, but they told me i would have to pay for someone to check it...any advice would be great...many thanks xx

Answered on your other thread...post your actual kWh usage, not your £££ bills.

i do apologise..i have never used the site before..and i havent had any notifications that i recieved a response..
