Downstairs Bedroom......

Haven't read your previous thread/s so don't know how your finances are, but wondered if you'd be interested in this. I have done it before. Donate at least the min suggested to a homeless charity in return for having an architect come round your house and give you some ideas.

For me, it would partly depend what the space outside the bedroom window was like. If it was too close to the pavement, I wouldn't be happy, I need a decent stretch of garden between me and the road. But then I did once have a brick through our (downstairs) bedroom window in the middle of the night.
I don't know if any of you saw 'the toilet house' on Homes Under the Hammer: it's a converted toilet block very near where I live. One of the bedrooms is downstairs, and there is NOTHING separating the window from the passing pedestrians apart from a very narrow strip of grass.Signature removed for peace of mind0 -

Because there is a chimney breast that runs up through both bedrooms they're a difficult shape to partition
Taking out chimneys is not an expensive option. It might involve a little decoration and a bit of dust, but that is all short term.
If you can get some partitions installed I would suggest it0 -
