word of warning on A&L credit cards

It might be marketed by A&L but it is owned and run by MBNA and clearing bank is Barclays so it takes 10 working days to clear a cheque and 4 days for a direct debit transfer - so from my bank to Barclays to MBNA to A&L with
lots of opportunities for mistakes and getting lost- so they encourage you to pay minimum £5 payment then the interest if late PLUS £25 late charge
plus aggro with phone system that takes you round in circles and an insistence that it is quicker by internet- what if you do not have a connection?

"what if you do not have a connection?"

You obviously do if you posted this but the answer is to set up a direct debit for the minimum payment, you will never be late then. As for interest I suggest you look around the site and find out how to avoid paying any ever.
