Lifesearch - do they actually pay referral fee?

I wondered if anyone has actually received the fabled £100 refer a friend fee from Lifesearch?

I have been waiting for this for about 6 months, have e-mailed numerous times with no reply or acknowledgement, and phoned and spoke to various people, all of whom assure me it is no problem and will be sorted, then whom I never hear anything from again.

I have wasted so much time and stress on this but am reluctant to just give up - any tips, anyone?

Their commission from the insurer is earned over a period of upto 48 months. If the plan is cancelled in that time, a portion of the commission is repayable, based on a downward sliding scale.

They are probably making sure their costs are covered before they pay a referral fee, otherwise they could end up making a loss on an early cancellation.
