if you like coffee i would seriously think about buying one, and if any of you do surveys and get Amazon vouchers then you can use them to buy the pods that's what i do.
I'm had to drink normal coffee this morning which tasted disgusting lol it makes it worse where we live as our water is very hardhave now given up smoking since feb 13th 2014 loving the money I'm saving0 -
Price match in Currys worked and got £6 extra off ( 10% off the difference) though left the staff with an unhappy face.0

Ooo thanks for this a perfect present to get my parents as a thank you for our wedding, not to cheap but not to expensive as they would frown if we wasted lots of money and this will be pratical. My Mum and I love Costa so now I can also have one on the morning of my Wedding
now to get the chocolate Tiffin!

I would love one, but have a practical question - do these not fur up quickly in hard water areas? I don't mind descaling / replacing kettles frequently, but would imagine that a Tassimo would need to either use bottled water, or require a lot of maintenance with hard water.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Hope is not a strategy...A child is for life, not just 18 years....Don't get me started on the NHS, because you won't win...I love chaz-ing!

The machine requires a de-scaling cycle every so often - mine has a warning light that comes on every couple of months. Descaling solution or a one-item sachet are readily available in supermarkets.
I also use filtered water in mine."Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.0 -

Hi,
I live in a very hard water area and have had to descale mine once so far (had it since about nov 2012), i brought some de scaling from amazon link
i don't use filtered watered but that would help prolong the descaling time for you so in my opinion i would say go for it I now hate having a coffee which is made by my kettle because the taste is disgustinghave now given up smoking since feb 13th 2014 loving the money I'm saving0 -
Thanks that looks good, I'm wondering if that might be a present idea for my Dads birthday in May, but not sure if it would fit in the kitchen as its a small one.
Does anyone know to add milk has it got to be capsules? Mum and me have soya milk in drinks and I'm not aware there is a soya milk capsule. Costa's use soya milk but from cartons.
I'm not a coffee drinker but my Dad is and currently uses a cafetiere and I don't ow much about coffee machines! But am looking for birthday ideas.
If you buy the Costa Cappuccino they come with 8 coffee discs and 8 milk discs. You put the milk disc in first then when it's finished you put the coffee disc in. When my friend comes over who only drinks soya milk I just put a little in the cup and put it in the microwave for a few seconds, then I put the cup in the tassimo and only put the coffee disk in. I end up using the spare milk discs myself in hot chocolates and any other coffees I have left over.
Obviously you don't have to heat the milk in the microwave first but I hate lukewarm coffee!!

I'm new to all this coffee machinery stuff! What's the difference with the t20, t40 and t42?? I've noticed t60 as well.....this is confusing!
Thanks0 -
I got this for Mother's Day my kids put money in my card for me to buy the t20 from argos but I did a on line search found the tassimo at sainsburys and went for that instead and got the t40. No idea what the difference is except the price. Love the Costco coffee but can't get milka pods anywhere not even tassimo web have them. Can't use my £20 voucher until they do.
If you look on you tube there are people showing you how to refill the milk discs might be worth the hassle to do for soya milk. I would also email the company because there must be tons of people who can't have milk 3 of my grandchildren can't.
Loving my new machine and hope they bring out more flavours soon I would like a hazelnut one and a mocha one as I believe they took the mocha one off the market.0
