This arrived yesterday - from where/how/why, I know not.
I removed it via normal control panel uninstall, yet it is there again now.
I don't want it, but as it no longer appears in my list of programs, how do I do this please? - and keep it permanently away.
Thankyou for any advice.

What have you installed or allow to update recently? That'll be where it came from - in some installs/updates it is "offered" and is preselected ... if you don't do a custom install or deselect it then it'll be put in.0

Putah updates automatically when I close it down.
I HAVE now removed it - found it had insinuated itself into settings.

The Ask toolbar installation is ticked by default when you upgrade Java. Have you done that recently? If so, then next time it asks you to upgrade carefully look at the installation screen and make sure that the Ask toolbar is unticked.Old dog but always delighted to learn new tricks!0

Yes, I've nearly installed it by accident with Java myself.0
