i believe this takeover went ahead at end april - i opted for all cash proceeds - received dividend cheque for 12p/share almost 2 weeks ago - still waiting for actual takeover amount for my shares which i think should have been sent beginning of may - has anyone received payment from iberdrola for their shares yet

I suspect most of us can't be bothered to hold on to our Iberdrola shares and get involved with Spanish tax on dividends etc.

However I may be cynical but I tend to think that the price of shares in this type of situation are always depressed initially becase so many of us unsophisticated investors are selling.

I decided to hang on to mine for a while and note that the shares have risen by over £3 from the indicated price of £25 on 25 April. Most of that has been in the last 2 weeks - Euro37.05 on 4th May to Euro41.12 on 17th May
