Tesco Refund

Hi. I bought an Apple magazine at the weekend from TEsco in the iCloud for 12.99 when the price on the magazine stated 9.99. Didn't realise until 2 days later when I just reviewed my shopping bill. Went back and the manager just seemed to state accidents happen & the magazine would be pulled from sale etc. Offered and I accepted the refund but nothing more.

Not happy with such a lousy response from Tesco. Almost felt like why are u bothering. Pity all those people who have bought the magazine. Surely i am not the only one in the country to have noticed in 2 days.

I would like to escalate this further and make a formal compliant but not sure who to. Any ideas?

They offered a refund and withdrew it from sale. I'm confused what else you want!

    Compo, clearly.

OP, they've refunded you and taken steps to ensure it doesn't occur again. I'm sure that they don't keep tabs on everyone who buys the magazine and so contacting the affected people individually isn't possible. I think this is probably just one of those things and will serve as a reminder to always check receipts!

I thought Apple fans were used to buying overpriced but shiny products?

Shouldn't the OP have got DTD as it was Tesco? So a refund of £6?

What more do you expect them to do????

Clearly someone has keyed the price into the system wrong.
Bit OTT service to remove the other copies from the shelf and deprive other people of the chance to buy a copy

You have formally complained and the situation has been resolved.
The item will have been marked onto a list of incorrect prices (all till operators keep one) and it will be updated.
If other people are stupid enough not to notice well thats their problem.

Ah yes ............but no one is allowed to make an honest mistake any more. Someone has to blamed for this heinous crime - and any "victims" must receive huge amounts of compensation :D:D

    Lesson to be learned.

Check any receipts before leaving the store. I used to get fed up of
going back to the stores I always check mine before leaving.

You were offered a refund so what else would you like ?

    Escalate to whom exactly ?
You could escalate it to the Ceo of Tesco ?

I noticed that Tesco are listing many of their magazines online at prices higher than the cover price. Still, they've got to pay for all that horsemeat somehow.
