Car Insurance - Car model not listed

My wife has bought a new car.
As this car is one of very few manual gearbox versions of this model it is not listed on any comparison website or insurers website.
Can anyone inform me how we can get this car insured as every website has the automatic listed but not the manual.
Help pleeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaasssssssee

Is it a normal UK model or a grey import?

doesn't it find it from the reg plate rather than searching through the car model.

My insurance always used to come up with the wrong model and there was always somewhere on the application form to alter the details of the model.

Not a grey import and it is not found when you input the reg as we have transferred the private plate from our old car

Its a top secret spy car. It has missiles so accidents are not an issue.

One button and its what accident i didnt see anything.

And what website are you using?

compare the market has the car manual and auto listed.

What does your log book describe as the exact model, I say this as the Insurers get the model data when you enter your reg from the DVLA. So if you log book show the slightly wrong model then the DVLA is your problem.

You can correct it by contacting the DVLA although it won't correct at the Insurers for quite some time.

S Line Plus 2011 - 2012 no issues finding it here.

Dont forget they may list the power as PS not BHP. So a small variation in the power = the same car.

Couldnt find a 225bhp model in the lineup.
