Hi,
I am starting two modules of a Foundation Business Degree on the 6th April and have the following questions:
1. I have applied for finance but need to send in my birth certificate. If this is not received and processed for the 6th April, will I still be allowed to start my course?
2. I need a laptop for my studies but I am struggling with funding in time for my course start date, is there any help I can get with this in time for 6th April and even though my student finance is not fully processed yet?
Many thanks in advance for your replies.

I think you get all your course materials even if your student finance is not sorted fully so you will be able to start the course.
For other finance, contact your regional office and ask to speak to a learning adviser. They used to have funds that they could hand out for hardship and it has to be used for things other than fees. A laptop would be something that would fit in this category. It's nothing to do with finance, it's on a individual needs basis, and I don't know if it is still available but I hope it is!!There are three types of people in this world. Those who can count and those who can't.0
