Ppi claim through frs and lloyds

Hi
My mum submitted a claim for PPI against Lloyds through FRS. She has now today received a settlement but it has come direct from Lloyds and not through FRS. Lloyds are paying the amount direct into her bank account. Does she still have to pay FRS there cut as it has come direct fromthe bank.

Since Banks don't deal directly with Claims Companies, it doesn't matter where the actual redress is sent. If she fails to pay FRS, they'll set debt collectors on your mother and trash her credit rating. Ultimately, not paying could result in your mother winding up in court.

Expect a demand for payment from FRS very shortly.
