I like this site a lot. I try to do a couple of reviews a week and always rate back as well as proactively rate other reviews I find interesting. It is important though not to proactively rate too much too fast or you do get a warning e-mail.

Writing one review a day can also be a good idea as a lot of people won't rate more than one of your reviews a day.

Writing more than a bit over the 150 mark will also help stop your first reviews from getting locked along with their miles.

Updating your reviews before they hit their six month anniversary will also keep you earning from them.

The picture is pretty much essential in helping people rate you back.

    :money: Good points Tolteca

I see a lot of people post on review at 7am and then another in the evening, might be a decent way to overcome the fact many people begrudge 'churning'?

And always read reviews before you rate them and you won't have any problems with rating too quick I don't think. I have learnt a lot from this site - it's not all Yankee candles and Lush products :P

A word on formatting - unlike ciao dooyoo do not allow HTML in their reviews, but they do stress reviewers to make their reviews readable - no spelling errors, capital letters where they should be and paragraphing are all paramount.

And always read a few reviews before you write one of your own, so you can see how it is set out and so on. :)

thanks tolteca :) i am new there so all tips help. i tend to write between 300 and 500 words without much effort. but i do waffle lol. there is a lot of product choice to review too although i have stuck to the diy stuff ( i am butch i am ) and the natural products like weleda. i was expecting a slating for the body shop ones because i got fed up with people writing about them being "oh so natural and ethical etc" when they are full of chemicals and owned by l'oreal who test on animals.... but i didn't. <phew>

am still finding my feet over there but can see how it will easily become more lucrative for me than swagbucks. i will constinue to swag but will not be making a big effort there anymore, just enough to hit target. until they sort out their issues with crediting and dodgy offers i think that is best for me. i have a small sprog and am wasting hours for nothing over there. on dooyoo i have made good money for little effort and that suits me fine :)

I read ridiculously quickly, so I do have to conciously wait after reading to rate but most people won't hit that problem. Though it is a good idea to not rate too fast so Dooyoo are happy that you've seen the ads on the page while you've done it.

aye but it is their loss really ( or not i suppose as they don't seem to care much about losing established users) - i used to be what is classed as " high earner" on there, i shopped on there etc. they did ok out of me. but enough is enough until they get a grip. besides as you say the customer service on DY is v good and they are not all bot paranoid. the main benefit of DY tho is that the earnings credit... you don't have to continually file tickets and explain to generic "staff". they just add the points on and then you cash out. i like that. it is easy and simple and the points mount up very fast. i am shocked at how little i have done for 15 quid. i am going to build it up and have it as a regular income.

ty for telling me about it :)

i also read very fast and have spent quite a while reading stuff that i am interesting ( hippy crap and tools usually lol ). there is a huge variety and diversity of products on there so it is easy to find something that you use regularly to genuinely review.

it isn't all positive as well which i appreciate - sometimes you need to know what products NOT to buy!
