I've just joined dooyoo and wrote my first review yesterday and it already got 6 ratings! I can see how this can build up quite quickly! Time to write another :)

    Welcome

May I suggest that you have a look at other shampoo reviews. Yours requires some more details.

next, dont write anymore reviews today but instead go off and familiarise yourself with the site by reading and rating at least 50 reviews. Leave a few comments as well.

Good advice. Starting off can seem a bit confusing. It felt as if I was back at school with a 'must do better' report on my first couple of reviews. Then I realised that the comments were really helpful and offered in good community spirit. Now I've become a bit of an addict!

If you rate people back at least as much, if you can manage it more, than the ratings you receive, you will get lots more rates on your reviews.

Could I recommend publishing a maximum of one review per day, as that way you'll earn more? The reason why I say that, is most people will only read/rate one review per day of any members, and that would leave all your hard work lacking in ratings, whereas if you just published one per day or every other day, you'll get a lot more ratings (hence earn more in the long run) on each one.

    Welcome to Dooyoo!

Thanks for your advice! I must admit I wrote that review blind and didnt look at others first , which clearly would have been more sensible!
Work is a bit manic at the moment so will invest some time this weekend getting to knlw the site, rating other reviews etc!

Don't worry, I made the mistake of not reading any prior to writing my first one too and it ended up as Somewhat useful or useful rather than Very useful.

The best advice I can give is to read others reviews and you'll soon get the hang of how it works. I'm oliblob on there by the way, what's your name I'll try and find you.

Hi - just a quick question about Amazon vouchers.

I thought I'd get them out for Christmas, already have some saved with Amazon.

However I've found out now that you cannot use vouchers saved on Amazon to buy more vouchers as presents, they take it form your credit card.

I was wondering - if I get the voucher codes from Dooyoo - would they still work if I gave the codes to others as gifts rather than using them on my Amazon account?

Yes I have done this in the past, no problem. I would say though that you will need to cash out the increments you want, i.e 5 x £20 rather than £100 and hopefully Dooyoo would send you 5 x £20 instead of 1 x £100 voucher.

Also, I always worry with having codes for Amazon hanging around that they could be used by scammers working through thousands of code entries or something. It has never happened to me but I always worry... I am a worrier :rotfl:

Could you get presents off Amazon instead? x
