You'll need a new oil filter as well.

I just had an oil and filter change done at Rapid Fit. £30.

Maybe not the cheapest but attached to main dealer as the car is still quite new.

The cheapest way is to do it yourself.Don't scrimp on the oil quality and make sure you dispose of the old oil correctly.

£20 for oil (semi-synthetic) and filter change at National Tyres, any car up to 2300cc, seems to exclude diesels though.

Thanks Spotter - National now do diesels for the same price as petrol, between 20 - 25 squid.

Get it done at national tyres for £15-£25 with oil filter, depending on the grade of oil. Get an engine flush too £6 at national, it cleans out the old oil from the engine so prolonging the life. I always get full synthetic oil for my car bmw 318is coupe.

For the price at national tyres it aint worth thinking about doing yourself.
