Hi all, I'm sorry if this is a really simple question! My friend has paid someone to network her two computers together and he is basically messing her around, his latest thing is that he cant get a router/modem that is compatible with Tiscali broadband unless he pays £76 from Tiscali themselves. Now my question is, I have a brand new speedtouch 780wl that I got free from virgin when I joined but I dont use it, would this be compatible with her broadband and also would we need to download drivers for it as the disk supplied seems to be virgin branded. Thanks in advance for any help.

Tell your friend to ditch the muppet who is giving her bad advice. The Speedtouch 780wl that you have spare is suitable for use on Tiscali and you do not even have to install any drivers or use the Virgin CD.:doh: Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0
