I don't know if I put a mobile phone number on my facebook profile, but if I did, I still use that phone. How do you get the verification method to be that of sending you a text, rather than having to identify friends pics, if you cannot log in to start with?

By the way, I also started up a facebook group for Swindon, Bath and Bristol compers, but won't be able to run that any more if I cannot get access to facebook.

I ticked something that said I could not get the code via mobile, then they asked for photo ID, then after doing that, they emailed and asked for it again!

I'm actually really annoyed :mad: For some of us here (or maybe its just me) comping is an innocent hobby, something to relax with and pass the time away. I don't go out and get drunk, cause disturbance, beat up little old ladies, take drugs, steal or partake in any other socially unacceptable behaviour/pastime.
I get up at 6am 5 days a week, do my 8 hr shift at work, come home make tea, do housework....... My daily relaxation is my hr or 2 of watching the soaps while doing my comps and some good for nothing SOAB decides that this isn't acceptable to them and reports us all for "dare I say it" having a facebook account that we use for comping! Well if that makes you sleep better at night (whoever you may be) then you carry on but me........I'll continue to flout the rules and continue my facebook comping!

Rant over - have a good night all - I'm off to open another facebook account

As soon as I put in my log in/password I was asked to verify my account. I'd had to give them my mobile number ages ago when I was locked out for some reason, so today they just sent a code to my mobile and I typed it in the box on screen.

- Just been asked to verify again by the same method -
