well i didnt go to the court this morning, as im more than happy to pay the debt (i did run it up after all)
You should really have gone to court as I suggested above, because most companies will add charges of £200-£300 for force fitting a prepayment meter on a warrant. If they arrive at the house when you are not there, they will change the locks (which you will be charged for) and leave the keys at the nearest police station. If they think there may be a breach of the peace, they will also ask the police to attend when they change/remove the meter.
You are sure they are just going to change it, not remove it altogether aren't you? Although it is very rare for them to leave remove a supply altogether when someone lives in the property, it does happen.
I would recommend you call them for an update, so you can make sure you are in when they visit and ensure they fit a prepayment meter not disconnect you.0
