Swift Advances / Blue Sky Personal Fianance

I had a loan through Swift Advances which was done through the broker Blue Sky Personal Finance.

I still have a copy of the signed agreement but if I've sent a SAR to Swift Advances to what other information they hold in relation to the loan.

I assume that I would have to claim direct through Blue Sky Personal Finance, but the address I have for them was Cardiff. Doing a quick search I see they are now based in Cwmbran which is only a few miles away. I guess this the same company, but I was wondering if anyone has any experience of these brokers?

Forgive me for resurrecting an old thread.

I received a letter from a claims company offering to claim my ppi now that blue sky are in liquidation. Within their documentation is also a letter from an insolvency practitioner, which I assume is where the claims company got my details.

In this instance how should I try to reclaim the ppi through the claims company or is there another way with blue sky being in liquidation?

If Blue Sky are in liquidation and you took this loan on or after 14th January 2005. Contact FSCS regarding compensation.

If your PPI was before this date, FSCS cannot help you.
I assume if FSCS cannot help you, neither can a claims co.

Thanks for asking about it and thank you again for your help back then too. I got an email from FOS 2 months ago asking for further details about my claim, regarding other insurance policies we had at the time, sick pay we would have got through our employment. I answered their questions and they said they had enough information now to make a decision, I'm still waiting on that decision though. When I do then I'll post an update in the relevant sections. So it's taken 2 years to get this far, hopefully I will hear soon.
