morning everyone
hope you are all well this Monday morning. So windy today - felt like my little car was going to get blown off the road on my way to work this morning!
So today :
- breakfast at home (porridge with apple, dollop of yoghurt and drizzle of honey)
- brought in lunch from home (tuna mayo on home made brown bread with tomatoes, a yoghurt, apple and banana)
- veggie dinner from meal plan tonight
- when I get home will freeze chicken that was left over from last night's dinner to use later in week in a curry or risotto
- make use of free tea/coffee/hot chocolate at work today (will need to, to keep warm!)
- charging phone at work
- checked banks and spreadsheet budget this morning and all on track
- checked my jar in the kitchen that has the grocery money in it and looking ok for rest of week as only need to buy a few bits and bobs (veg, milk etc)
- another aloohol free day today - yay!
- DH on board - when I said I was budgetting so as to put by some money each month so that we could make the major holidays we want to do in a couple of years' time he was chuffed to bits
- staying in tonight, keeping warm, and watching television/reading books with a hot chocolate or horlicks - lovely!!
have a good day everyone!Sick and tired of waking up sick and tired...

The Boss you walk miles & miles & miles! You must be super fit! Should inspire me to walk more....
Thanks, but it is only something I can do as I have s huge amount of time on my hands at the moment. But it has been amazing how quickly I built up from a few miles a day to up to 14/day. My best was 47 miles in 4 consecutive days and that was about a month after starting and taking it seriously. Would strongly recommend it even if it is just 30 mins/day
In conjunction, I use myfitness pal to log what I eat and can highly recommend it. I allow myself 2200 calories per day including extra on days when I walk, whch increases my allowance. I have lost almost exactly a stone in a little over a month - if I didnt enjoy my food so much it would have been more, but I like my daily magnum and drinks every weekend sadly.
Not sure why I haven't considered all of the above as DFW related stuff. I walk for 3-4 hours and do not take money to avoid temptations plus am eating less. Not so DFW will be the trainers I buy when I have lost another 6 pounds0 -
I'm another my fitness pal fan. It really is great and allows you to chose how you 'spend' your calories. Have lost two stone, got fit for the first time in my life and feel amazing!! means I spend less on rubbish too, so def DFW!!Sick and tired of waking up sick and tired...

I'm rather paranoid and check the labels v what is on the app. It is ok once it is in the recent or frequent list but I like it to be completely accurate
The big benefit is inputting the day in advance - it means I can see how much I have left to play witb and means I don't pick non stop. Also helpful on days like Saturday when we had fish and chips for dinner and could plan everything else around that.0 -
Morning all. Oops it's sneaked into afternoon already!!
Today is a new start for me. I left my job on friday and I feel so much relief today knowing that I never have to go there again. It's actually quite sad as I loved my job but the staff team made it impossible for me to continue working there
Anyway that's enough wallowing.
Happy birthday Karb. Hope the date is a nice one
DNMS hope you are taking it easy today

Hi all,
What a weird day....really heavy snow showers alternating with spells of blue sky & sunshine. We look to be thawing now, tho' I had to dig the catflap out earlier.....then the little 'B' decided he didn't fancy going out!!
Today's MS activities:
*Used free foundation sample - 'Clarins' v nice, & will last 3 days, but I was pleased to see that it wasn't noticeably any better than the much cheaper one I usually buy (when on offer, of course!) from Avon.
*Checked for surveys - none today.
*Did a competition.
*Did laundry overnight on 30 degrees on Economy 7.
*Made bread dough for rolls.
*Did 'rubber pork'. The joint cost about £7 & already did roast dinner for 4 people yesterday. Have divvied up the leftovers to make tonight's curry (a Madhur Jaffrey recipe for leftover cooked red meat), some pork slices in gravy to serve with mash & veg, a Chinese-style stir-fry, a stew to top a jacket potato (all these to serve 2 people) & 2 packed lunches. Am pleased with that.
*All other leftovers from yesterday's Mother's Day lunch sorted out & assigned to other meals. Nothing will be thrown away.
*Updated my personal spends budget.
As I can't get out & tackle all the garden jobs that need doing, & I can't do my usual daily aerobics dvd due to a calf muscle injury, I'm intending to spend this afternoon catching up on some TV progs I've recorded, so a NSD today. Also need a v good diet week as ate 2 pieces of the cake I baked for my Mum yesterday as well as too much of other things......grrrrr!

Hi everyone,
Very busy weekend for me so haven't made it on to post the past few days, I did have a quick read through though!
Thanks for starting us off Candy, I'm also in need of some motivation!
DNMS - Hope you feel better soon.
Zepsgal - When did they say they'd let you know about the job? I hate the waiting!
Happy Birthday Karb! Have a lovely time tonight & don't worry about calories too much, enjoy yourself & start the diet again tomorrow.
Starnac - You're so brave, I am really hating my main job at the moment but not sure what to do about it. Best get my thinking cap on.
All the MyFitnessPal peeps - I'm a fan too! It is so helpful, I haven't been using it lately & have definitely slipped up on the diet front so back on it today, if it'll let me log in! Lol. If you want to add me on there just pm me, I could do with the extra motivation.
Does anyone know if LPP & Ally are ok??

Hello Everyone,
Well its minus 4 here now and we have had about three inches of snow (6 inches if you are a man lol.) This means the heating is on but may layer up in a mo and go outside to cut some pallets up I was given to use as fire wood, so that I can turn heating off and use fire. Kind of hoping that I will be snowed in tomorrow so i can get loads done.
Today I have:
- Made it to the butchers for the dogs bones (treated myself to a lamb Vienna for 99p for dinner.)
- Popped into Mr T and brought a few bits but only spent £7
- Signed up to nectar toolbar etc
- agreed to a Mystery Shop tomorrow - weather permitting.
- Do swagbucks / one poll / surveys etc
- Do the ironing as bit of a back log. Sort out bits I don't want and bag for boot fair.
- put a load of washing on.
- Empty dishwasher, managed to drag it out to four days this time.
- Do a couple of hours crafting as got my first stall at the end of the month.
- Get an early night as I am shattered.
Hope everyone has a lovely rest of their day.APR NSD - 0/10
Paid off in 2013 so far £125.00
April Money made - £18.000
