in Credit cards
I was lucky enough to get one of these cards but you can only transfer balances onto it from other credit cards.
I was wondering whether I could pay off a chuck of my mortgage (effectively a large overdraft a/c) with my Virgin card, then transfer it to my Capital One a/c. i.e. super balance transfer
Does anyone know costs / potential downfall of doing this?
ANy other way of best utilising these 0% deals?

Are you meaning you have a Virgin One account? If the answer is yes then do it straight away... you are losing money waiting

...or if you have the Virgin branded MBNA credit card and a flexible mortgage the answer is yes you can still do it but you must make sure you can repay the CC at the end of the 0% deal.
Either way make sure you set up a direct debit to pay the minimum amount due each month or you will get stung with charges and probably have the 0% deal removed.God save the King!
I'll save Winston Churchill, Jane Austen, J. M. W. Turner and Alan Turing.0 -
