Divorce, Clean Break and transfer of deeds.. Help!

Hi,
I split up with my husband a year ago and have been trying to sort everything out. I have begun the divorce via Quickie Divorce and also the clean break order. My ex husband has agreed to give me the flat we shared and I have almost got a mortgage set up for myself but... I do need to get the deeds transfered and I'm just wondering if anyone has had any experience in this and could offer me any advice?
Is it very expensive and do I need a conveyancing solicitor?
I'll be so glad when this is all over, it's so stressful
Thanks to anyone who can help at all. Feeling a bit lost!

Hi look on this site for info http://www.landreg.gov.uk
Also this book is helpful "do your own conveyancing" by Paul Butt
ISBN 0-85202-992-6
you can borrow it from any East Sussex library
It cost my partner and i £40 to transfer deeds to joint names but there was no money or mortgage involved, your case will be different and you will most likely need to use a solicitor.
Andydon't get mad do yoga0
