WTC have just paid me after 3 months not sure if im meant to get it though

my partner changed jobs, i changed hours at the beginning of march so i phoned and told them as we had more money coming in, they sent me a form to fill in which i did and sent it back, they stopped our wtc and child tax credits immediatley (the same week i phoned) i havent heard anything from them since, i phoned last week to ask if they had recieved my forms they said no we will send out some more which i havent got yet but this morning i logged on to my banking and have had two payments today adding up to about 80 pounds. im soooo confused as they said they hadnt recieved my information last week, should i just see what happens next week or shall i ring them and ask whats going on, i dont want to confuse them any more than they already are but i dont want to end up owing them money.

any advice appreciated. thank you

It's probable that as its now a new Tax year that you are starting to receive your entitlement for this year.

Call them them to be sure.
