Hi,
I bought 2100 ms points yesterday from a website named gamecardsnow.com
I bought because it said it was instant. Once I had bought the screen after payment said it could take up to 30 minutes which I though OK fair enough.
But now it's been 24 hours and still nothing. I have emailed them and not received a response. They have no phone number, no company details and no address details.
I think I may have been had. Does anyone have any ideas on what I should do?
I really can't afford to lose the nearly £20 I spent.

Google reviews aren't very favourable.
How did you pay?0 -
I paid by paypal. Should I raise a complaint? I really can't afford to wait weeks to get the money back.
I really feel so stupid now. I should have guessed they weren't legit by their slightly unprofessional looking website.0 -
Long shot, but if you have the order number, try inputting it here

It says its been resent. Im refreshing my emails and nothing. I've checked my spam folder.
This is just awful0 -
There's another thread on here for InstantPoints (I think), where people have had similar issues.
They've been raising disuptes with paypal with varying degrees of success.
Might be worth a read.:wall: Flagellation, necrophilia and bestiality - Am I flogging a dead horse? :wall:
Any posts are my opinion and only that. Please read at your own risk.0 -
I can't access the site as it is blocked by my work firewall, but I wouldn't trust any commercial site that hides its domain registration details by using a privacy service as this one does.
From memory, the successful claimants on the instagamepoints thread got their money back by claiming that the item wasn't as described (possibly due to the instant delivery promised).0 -

Hi I think I have been scammed too did u ever get your code ??0 -
I think I have been scammed too. I wasn't thinking and just clicked on site as son wanted microsoft points urgently. This was last night and I am still waiting and also no response to my 'ticket'. It isn't 24 hours yet, but I am not holding my breath and could anyone tell me how I can get my money back as I paid via Pay Pal. I went on earlier and so they were quick enough to take the money rather. I was hoping to be able to stop the payment. Have never been in this situation before.:(0

Buy your points from Microsoft: http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US
It's obviously a scam, why would you sell points off so cheaply? Microsoft is instant, you just need to pay what they are worth.0 -
I used GameCardsNow.com today before reading this thread and was worried when the XBox Live Gold code didn't arrive promptly.
However, I did get the code about nine hours after ordering so the site does not appear to be a scam site. They might just be a small business overwhelmed by demand.0
