Hi all
I have a HSBC cash ISA and a Flexi-Saver. I have had these accounts for over 3 years. How do i close them? They have been empty for over a year now.
Thanks
Jim

Either read the t&cs or ask HSBC.0

Because you want to become a 'new customer' eligible for offers in a few months?
Because you don't want to receive all those 5p interest payments you have to put on your tax return?
Because you don't want them sending you piles of marketing gumph about their latest loan?
Because you don't want to have one more account that could be used for fraud?
Because you want to leave things simple for your executors in case you go under a bus tomorrow?
Generally the simplest thing to do is call and ask what the closure procedure is (fill in a form, write a letter?)0
