connecting a call blocker

Do you know if you can connect a call blocker to a telephone line that already has an 'alarm already connected to it that automatically calls for help when needed?

I don't see why there should be any conflict - the call blocker is presumably for blocking incoming calls and places no bars on outgoing. It's likely the alarm would simply bypass the blocker in any casee as it will be directly wired to the phone line.

thanks for the reply. I'll give it a go. Mum is getting very upset by all the nuisance calls, and at 90 years of age, I don't blame her!

I just use callerid - if I don't recognise the caller I don't answer. Of course that does mean I still go to a phone because it's ringing when I needn't have done so but I don't rush myself as if necessary I can always call back.
