Any advice about the RBS Classic Mastercard

I just applied online for one of these cards and was accepted. Problem is they only gave me a £1750 limit which isn't enough as I wanted to transfer a larger amount.
Has anyone been given a low limit with one of these cards and been able to negotiate a higher limit after receiving the card?
I thought there was a good chance that my application would get rejected due to my less than perfect credit record so I'm glad they gave me something I guess.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

nows the right time to sign up more loans. They don't loan you their money but collect interest and the principal from money they didn't lend.
    Confused? :D

If I borrow £5000 and pay £500 interest they have made a profit of £5500.
They cashed my IOU (agreement) and made me pay it back with interest. They are not allowed to loan me their money or their depositors. My future labour is the collateral and they keep my cash deposits as profit. £5500

    So was I ti1980,
but things are not always what they seem. Especially with Banking and who controls the Bank of England.

Truth is, the bank takes your signature on your application and creates the money out of thin air, which it then loans you.

    Quotes:
The Bank’s [Bank of England] Charter included the following immortal words: “The bank hath benefit on the interest on all monies which it creates out of nothing”. Sir Josiah Stamp - Governor of the Bank of England at the time said “It is the biggest sleight of hand trick ever witnessed”.

“ Whoever controls the volume of money in our country is absolute master of all industry and commerce...and when you realise that the entire system is very easily controlled, one way or another, by few powerful men at the top, you will not have to be told how periods of inflation and depression originate”. President Garfield (1881)

If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks...will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.... The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs. - Thomas Jefferson

"The ultimate ignorance is the rejection of something you know
nothing about and refuse to investigate"
    – Dr. Wayne Dyer

I hope the quotes are not an overkill but ignite your interest in this matter for further information.

    Good luck!
