Just a quick question:
Can this account receive cheque payments or must it first be deposited into a current account and then transferred internally?

DEPOSITS AND WITHDRAWALS
2.1 You can pay money into the Account in branch, or by transferring money from another account with us or another bank.
I guess this says yes but can anyone confirm in practice?0 -
I don't know the answer but the account has a terrible interest rate (1.2% AER incl 12 moths bonus, then 0.1%!!!). Even their worst current account (with Vantage) pays at least 1.5%, and up to 3%. Albeit for £5K max but you can have 3 of these.
Even if you can't for some reason get a current account, can't you find a better savings account?0
