Barclaycard World question

I know there are always questions about the Barclaycard World account, but this is a slightly different question :)

I have a £4.5k balance on my Barclaycard account, and a £5.5k limit. This is currently interest free until Jan 2014.

I have a Virgin card and have been told I can transfer £10k. I want to transfer this amount, to clear the Barclaycard balance, and then transfer the difference of £5.5k into my current account.

As I am also clearing the balance with this payment, do you think I would be able to then transfer the difference to my current account, or would they just return the payment to the card from where it came from?
