Scottish Power Fixed price energy April 2015

My old capped rate will finish this June so Scottish Power have sent me an invitation to switch to this fixed price offer. I ran my consumption figures through a spreadsheet and it looks like the new offer price is 25% higher than now but fixed until April 2015. I have also registered with Martin's Cheap Energy club. Scottish Power doesn't appear top of the list. Their fix offer would lock you in for two years. Do you think this offer is worth it or should I look for a better offer?

You can pay 25% extra in June, why would you want to start doing that NOW?0

square-eyes when did you take out the old rate, because the prices will not be 25% more than current prices. Remember that you are comparing the prices from when you first took the old capped rate with the new ones. There would be a cancellation charge of £50.00 for Dual Fuel if you take the deal then switch to a new company before the end of the deal.

What a nightmare! Incorrect information on email, website down most of today, 3+ hour call queues - the only saving grace was the twitter account who phoned me back.
The first dodgy bit of info came in the email about the end of my fix.
Here are the new prices:
and here's how much more it'll cost me:
Wow? Really? A 13.5% and 16.6% increase but I pay the same?! Phoned up to get some of that maths-beating action:
"Oh, yeah, just ignore the email, the numbers on those are wrong".
I gave it a rest until last week when I had another look and tried to find the tariffs - near impossible. When CS didn't call back after a day, it was twitter to the rescue and the agent sent me some PDFs. So now I had 3 different tariffs to choose from, each around 28 pages long.
It was always going to still be the twinheat A option as we have a heatpump and 68% of our usage is off-peak (anything >10% makes an offpeak tariff worth it), but here's the interesting thing: When they finally phoned me back today, I asked (having done the numbers myself while waiting) which tariff they thought would be best for me.
The Fixed Price Energy April 2015 was "hands down the best option" for me. This was also the option suggested in the email that came.
Oh, really? As you can see from this table, it's actually the most expensive! Unless I've done something wrong? Anyone care to check my figures?0
