Very surprised about this, as the person you spoke to broke Data Protection Law. To change any details, the card-holder needs to be spoken to.
Obviously, in the case of someone who's deceased - that's not possible. Hence Clubcard need something in writing.
After all, otherwise the 'card-holder' could be the subject of a practical joke. So if CC do something at someone's request and then a short time later the card-holder calls -- then what.
Moreover, if its in regard to a Credit Card - it's a letter to both!I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0
