hi all, my ant has 4 kids, her partner is leaving her. she works nights with is the main income. As her partner is leaving the home she will no longer be able to work as no1 to look after the children. if she quits work will she be able to claim income support?

If she has no job, then it would depend on the age of the kids. If they are under 14 then yes i think she can get IS and CB aswell as HB. If they are all over 14 then she will have to go on JSA while she gets another job.Never do things tomorow when you can do them today.0
