Brilliant result hop - proving that the stickies really work and need (in this case) no further input from regulars. This is truly an exemplar in successful self-help, utilising freely available expert advice through searching the vast wealth of pertinent information on here.

Another win against VCS. Thank you to all that took time out to help me and point me in the right directions from the soft appeal to the POPLA appeal. I won on the grounds of not GPEOL. VCS tried to claim there were sensitive security issues but the appeal was allowed by assessor Chris Adamson.:T:T:T

As I said before regarding those "security issues". Taking a picture of a car and then sending a silly piece of papers to the RK a few weeks later is sure to deter a car bomber.

From memory Parking Prankster did so (and surprisingly lost). Covered in one of his 2013 blogs. I'll have a look for it and edit this when I find it.

I ask as a case was recently thrown out in court for this very reason.....so I'm wondering if POPLA would now have to bear that decision in mind on any future appeals???

I know they are not legally 'linked/related' but was just wondering...

Hi umk.....not sure that is a definite case because uiavmm PPrank says he changed his appeal grounds and the assessment doesn't mention 'double dipping' as an appeal/decision point??

:) - that was the only one that instantly came to mind. Perhaps there are other contributors here who can recall alternative (non-PP) cases.
