Who pays for fitting?

Hi guys, long story in short. I purchased a new mixer tap for my kitchen sink. Got a plumber to fit it and all was well. Within two months the tap has started to drip, i recalled the plumber who thinks the tap is faulty. When the tap is replaced i will need it refitting.....obviously at a cost for the plumber services. Because the tap is faulty should the tap company cover the cost of 're-fitting' the tap or do i have to?
Thanks in advance
