Window Cleaner damaged window

Just looking for some advice.
A few months back our window cleaners visited our house. Some birds had left a deposit on one window and my wife asked the window cleaner to clean it off whilst cleaning the windows. They agreed to do this, but after they had left my wife noticed left over scratch marks on the window. She called the window cleaning company straight away and they said they had a person who could fix the window who could visit us in a few weeks.
Another month went by and the window cleaner came again. My wife had left messages with the company in the meantime, but I asked again when they were fixing the window. The guy washing them said that he would ask his boss and and give me an answer when they came to collect the money. This never happened.
This month both my wife and I were home. We spoke to the boss of the company who was with the other cleaners. He said that he had spoken to the guy who did the window that day and that he didn't scratch the window and that the sratch had been there for at least two years.
We have told them we do not want them to clean our windows again, but is there anything else we can do?
