Child Savings

I have read Martin's article on child savings accounts and opened save4it accounts with Halifax for my two children.
I am intending cashing in premium bonds held in their name and want to take advantage of Halifax Regular Saver for children offering 10%. Martin has suggested drip-feeding the regular saver from an interest-earning savings account, but the Halifax won't allow me to do that through the new accounts I've opened. Who offers the best interest savings account with standing order facility (is this at all possible with savings accounts)?

you don't often get savings accounts that allow standing order facilities0
