Hi,
Im pulling my hair out as i cant get another email account set up in windows mail (vista). I can send but not receive!
I wanted an account for my business: lauren@laydec.co.uk
Can i do this? The bloke at Virgin says i cant as i have to have ntlworld.com at the end!
So can anyone recommend a company that i could pay for a personal email address that can be used in windows mail
any help would be great
thanks
lauren

do you already own the laydec domain??
if so you need to go into the control panel for your domain, set up the new email account then point it to a spare Virgin email accountEx forum ambassador

No match for "laydec.co.uk".
This domain name has not been registered.
WHOIS lookup made at 21:33:26 09-May-2007
I'd go register the domain if your really want to use that as your email address. You can use a site like.... 123-Reg for registering. I think they will also provide an email box if you dont want to use the domain for a website.Throwing acid is bad.... in some peoples eyes...0 -
You just need to own the domain, set up the email forwarding (which is free) to go to your standard Virgin email address. THEN you can set up Outlook or whatever have a matching outgoing email identity and set up a rule to sort your business email into a separate folder.
If you get this far and get stuck, I am sure someone on this forum can show you how to set up your new email account.0
