Hacked account? seller emigrating? lucky bargain?

I saw this item come up and decided to take a gamble due to paypal protection not ever letting me down yet. Its a very basic Android Tablet but its half the price of elsewhere and even free shipping.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/281074773144
Its understandably been selling like hot cakes since coming on, listed as over 500 stock. The seller has been on Ebay since 2004 with modest activity and has no history of this kind of selling. The listing has been ripped straight from another very big sellers listing with a few tweaks, they even left in links to the other sellers items :rotfl: The listing was updated and delivery estimate seems quite long another signal of a scam giving them time to leg it.
What do you think? my instinct is no one will see any tablets and its one of a few things:
a) The seller has luckily got hold of a container of bankrupt stock and its a mega bargain.
b) The account has been hacked and someone is using it to scam money.
c) The seller is about to leave for a new life in Mexico and fancies £12K travel money for free.
My bet is option b)

Looking at similar listings, they're not that much more anyhow, but suspicion is the watchword here. That's my mutt in the picture above.0

The poor person whose account it is will have their account locked down permanently.Warning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise. Your statutory rights are not affected.0

Hmmm all the other cheap ones of this model I could find are faulty or on Auction. Buy it now's are £45 and this is £21. If it was £39..maybe :undecided.
Yes I feel sorry for seller, they probably have malware/virus problem on their PC too giving away their account details.0 -
Possibly or could have responded to a fishing scam by email.
Oh dear, a brand new eBay user just bought 2 of them a few minutes ago.Warning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise. Your statutory rights are not affected.0 -
Strange that there have been 191 sold, yet only 163 feedbacks for the seller for items sold before. The last item being Oct 2012That's my mutt in the picture above.0

:bdaycake: Hotcakes? :rotfl:
Another 50 and the 'seller' will be upgrading their Mexico ticket to 1st class0 -
The additional 'shop' items link to a different Ebay seller, so probably a scam. But, hey, if you are paypal protected and can tie a small amount of money up for a few weeks, then could be worth a punt.0

I've reported it to eBay but it sometimes takes a few hours.Warning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise. Your statutory rights are not affected.0
