Pet Insurance advice

I am wondering if it is worth getting pet insurance for 2 cats. One is 16 and on meds for an overactive thyroid and the other is a 6 year old

Can anyone recommend a decent insurance company and possibly the type of cover as I am not sure they will cover an old cat. I really want to be covered for one off injury which can cost a fortune. we have a very good vet but it comes at a price. I get the meds online so I can cope with that for now but he will need further tests down the line.

I would think that a 16 year old cat will be expensive to insure and most policies will exclude pre existing conditions.

You can get policies that will cover accident only which may be less expensive.

You should be able to get an insurance that will cover the 6 year old for accident and illness.
