When you filled in the comparison site was it based on how much you pay a month rather than your usage?

If you only used the figures for December/January then these are typically the heaviest used months so the DD will be higher as a result.

Also, you really need to reinstate the DD otherwise that is going to cause you a lot of trouble.

I'm starting to get quite frustrated with this forum. I get the impression that people here are not that interested in what the post is actually saying but merely whether there is anything in the post that they can debate to the nth degree.
I have clearly stated that it was Dec/Jan. I did not say October to December, I also did not say Jan to April, I said DECEMBER to JANUARY - the two out of three coldest months in the year with shortest days.

    I hope this helps

    Hi,

I think people are trying to help you and asking questions to get all the relevant facts.

In order to give you really good advice on how to proceed.

Also to ensure that you understand what exactly you have contracted to and the information that you initially gave to get your new supply:)

Direct debit as per ACTUAL usage per year is one of the important ones.

Also understanding that if you contract to new supplier in winter months dd will be higher this should balance out in warmer months and dd can be lowered.

If the correct information, actual yearly usage's were given, and your new supplier was cheaper, then I would think they are the ones to contract with?:D
