And ignoring the pointless immigration slant in this article there is some interesting info about the rate of job creation in 2012

This all shows how pointless it is to try to pick on one example of a company closing down as evidence that unemployment is increasing. You need to look at the overall picture as companies close down all the time whether the economy is in recession or not.
LoL - of course that would be erroneous! The rise in unemployment wasn't from that article only (it was slipped into a BBC lunctime news bulletin about a month ago - during a 'good news ;spun report they quickly added that the last month they were talking about (Jan) had seen a slight rise overshadowed by the previous 2 months!) We have since seen this echoed in other reports ('growth' of 'new vacancies posted' has now stalled after employersd gave Osborne benefit of doubt and have now lost patience and started to fear - anyway doesnt matter, youll see soon...0 -

got any actual evidence?
it's just that the most recent stats which are actually available completely contradict your baseless assertion.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-21517854 (this was widely reported throughout the press around 20 February).
perhaps you will be proved right in due course, but your desperation for negative economic data is becoming rather comical.0 -
I'm not quite understanding the point of these threads started and endorsed by the local Liebour evangelists in this forum like DLW and Woodbine.
Didn't two huge British companies called Woolworths and MFI go bust on Liebour's watch?
Not to forget Northern Rock, Royal Bank of Scotland, Bradford & Bingley amd HBOS. How much have they cost the UK economy?
What bugs me is that the Chiefs got honours and invitations to No 10 and No 11. As were Labour party donors.0
