Fraud

Not sure if this is the correct place.....

It came to ur attenton at Christmas that my husband (they attempted with me also) had been the victim of fraud. It was goods delivered to the address we used to live at (after we moved out) It was most likely (or in my eyes 100%) the tenants that moved into the property after we moved out. They must have got our details from post that arrived once we'd left the property.

We managed to get it all resolved in Feburary by sending proof of when we vacated the property, and now all has been resolved. ....

However......there is an entry on CIFAS on my husbands credit file with details of the fraud against him.

Is this something that could cause us a problem when applying for a mortgage?

Thanks
