    No interest for me either...
  • Hi
Has anyone ever had an account suddenly appear on the (in this case) Nationwide online account list with corresponding debitcard and paperwork in the post? It seems I have. I think, perhaps, I should avoid it and close it if possible.

Is there anybody else who hasn't had any interest added to their new Flex Direct account? - looked yesterday as people were saying that they had interest added and I have checked again this morning - nothing as yet!!

Are you sure you have funded the account from a different bank with at least 1K ?

Did you wait until the upgrade had been confirmed before you transferred the money into it?

    Exactly.
How the credit is shown in the mini statement: "internal transfer" or "bank credit"?

Internal transfer, then followed by a £2k bank credit from FD.

Just thought I would let you know that those who have opened up more then one Nationwide Flex Direct 5% account will only get interest paid on 1 account whether you circle money through 1 account or two accounts or even 4 accounts.

So its basically a waste of time for those who opened up more then one account.

Doesn't look like it is a waste of time.

Numerous reports here on MSE of people having been paid 5% on multiple accounts this month (myself included).
