When/how to go about increasing limit?

  • What, are you saying that you didn't wait the prescribed six months - a year before asking for an increase?! Don't you know you could have damaged the precious credit report?!

    I am, of course, being sarcastic. M&S probably won't give you another increase anytime soon, especially if you're only making the minimum repayments. If you want to continue spending at 0% once you get near the limit of your M&S card, you'll probably be better applying for another card from a different lender (so long as you know what you're doing and can pay back when necessary etc).

    Bear in mind that stoozing might make it a bit more difficult to get another card but if you're in good financial shape you'd probably be alright. Incidentally, I guess you are stoozing the money? Why are you bothering? With savings rates as low as they are I can't imagine it's worth the hassle.

  • Ok, so you're doing all of your spending on the CCs, but what are you doing with the money you're saving? The reason I ask is that there are more profitable options than simply leaving the money sitting in your current account.
