Replacing the cushions on my sofa!!!!!!!!!!

Hi,

I have a very expensive, and very rubbish, DFS hemingway sofa (bought off ebay I may add), and the cushions have had it. They are filled with some hollowfibre stuff and look awful. I went to my local 'foam man' and asked how much to replace all the cushions with nice foam ones, his reply was basically, get a new sofa. But I don't want to! There's nothing wrong with the frame of this one - My question in, does anyone think I could get away with using ordinary foam mattresses and cutting them up? Not memory foam ones but big standard cheap ones?

I've just replaced the cushions on my second hand large DFS sofa.

I would think cutting your own foam may be difficult??

I used the company below - cost £85 for the two cushions, delivered quickly and I have a 'new' sofa!
