mse shampoo

I am becoming increasingly aware of the amount of chemicals used to clean things like bathing and shampoo.

I'm looking for something inbtween I think I am looking for something that won't break the bank that isn't all chemicals.

I admit not very mse, I use the Aussie range on my hair, as it is extremely long.

I am considering trying something like the Asda Smart price shampoo for the total of 20p, does anyone else use this?

And does any one know of anything that is less chemcals.?

All soaps (and almost everything else) is made with "chemicals". What exactly is it that you're worried about?

My hair does not suit many Shampoos and Conditioners and the one I find most beneficial to my hair is Moroccan Argan Oil and I also use Argan Oil after it is washed & dry (says to use on damp hair but I find it best on dry hair).
Not sure what chemicals are in theses but these are the ones that work for me.
Not cheap (so look for 3 for 2's) but they go a long way and therefore they work out at the best price for me. My hair is quite long and if I don't use these it is frizzy, dry and to me never looks nice, when I use these products I have straight ish (I never use heat to dry my hair or straighten it) hair, it feels really soft and is shiny (also looks longer and healthier).

I have to admit that I don't really pay much attention to the chemicals in my shampoo. However I have long, thick and pretty unruly hair. I have found that my hair will adapt fairly well to most shampoos as long as I stick to my aussie conditioner. The conditioner is pretty expensive so I never buy it unless on offer and try to use boots points for it where possible. I then use the 45p shampoo from Aldi.

Hi. I tend to agree with Fairypeincessk - I think it's the conditioner that makes your hair, so I use a cheap shampoo but a good conditioner. Good luck x

Thanks for the replies, and reccommendations.

I'm not "worried" about the chemicals I just wondered if there was anything which proclaims to have less chemicals in.

Any reccommendations are always welcome, thanks I will keep an eye out I've not seen that one before.

Sounds like my hair except mine's VERY unruly. I'm using half cheapo (Wilko's) coconut conditioner and half Boot's coconut and almond hair mask. Dunno how cheap the Boots stuff is as it was part of a Christmas present but it does help to tame things down. Have you had a look in Savers? They often have pretty good deals on hair stuff.

Years ago I bought an SLS-free shampoo from a health shop. It was supposed to be for greasy hair. I had to use a whole bottle before it got my hair clean, so never again. Because I want animal-free shampoo I use the ones from Superdrug which are often on offer.

Faith in Nature are very reasonable. I use their shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and laundry liquid.
The laundry liquid worked wonders on my son's excema.

Thanks for the recommendation, I'll have a look out for it next time I'm in boots/wilkos. I hate that I pay upwards of £3 a bottle on offer:eek: I used to live near a savers but don't anymore:( They did have excellent deals.
