Driving Experience - Change in T&C's since purchase

Hi, was wondering if anyone can help.

I was given a supercar driving experience voucher last year as a birthday present, bought from driveme. I have called just called the company to book the experience, but have been told there is a premium charge for doing the experience between certain times of the day.

When the voucher was bought there was no mention of this extra fee on the website, but has been added since. (I would provide, links, but am unable to do so as I'm a newbie to this forum.)

Are they able to do this? The fee is only £10, but I think its taking advantage and would like to challenge it.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Do you have proof of the original T&Cs. at time of sale. Also, as you didn't purchase the voucher, you have no consumer rights regarding it's purchase.

Almost certainly not true, the consumer rights can be transferred with a gift.

And this kind of voucher is pretty much by definition a gift.
One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.
